Eastern Newfoundland

Join Wildlife Division staff as they celebrate National Wildlife Week at the Village Mall from Wednesday, April 11 to Saturday, April 14, 2012.

Visit the Village Mall to hear and share wildlife-related stories. Visit the exhibits, view the displays and enter contests for a chance to win great prizes. Listen to presenters and staff as they share stories about wildlife. See an awesome life-sized taxidermy of a polar bear, coyote and wolf. Hear an amazing story of the journey of an anole and how it found its way to Salmonier Nature Park.

Local storyteller, Gary Green, will be at the Village Mall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, to entertain visitors with his wonderful stories. Salmonier Nature Park, Parks Canada staff, as well as a number of other presenters, will spend Saturday afternoon sharing their wildlife stories.
