Becoming An Outdoors Woman Program

The Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) Workshop is for women who wish to learn new outdoor recreation skills or enhance their knowledge of fishing, hunting and other outdoor activities.

Open to women 18 years of age or older, the workshop offers instruction in outdoor activities such as firearm use, outdoor survival, using a map and compass, birding, photography and fishing.

Participants learn and improve outdoor skills under the guidance of experienced and enthusiastic instructors.

All classes are offered at an introductory level for participants with little or no outdoor experience. All equipment (except cameras) is provided. Space is limited. Register early for best selection of courses. The program will go ahead whatever the weather. Each participant will receive a confirmation letter, a list of what to bring, and directions to the camp prior to the workshop.
